Narratively, Freedom Bound is a meditation on the geometry of 2-Dimensional environments and how fourth-wall breaking techniques can be used to redefine the game space.

Critical information such as the primary key within the system was identified. This table pinpoints the X Y coordinates of various level elements.

System design works in tandem with other branches of design, including narrative, quest and level design to provide a robust overall experience. It provides a reference sheet for programmers and designers alike, allowing for the rapid visualisation of datasets used within the game and the tracking of dynamic values obtained from players.

Environmental Narrative

In line with the theme of the game, the levels were designed to resemble a rapidly expanding map created by the manipulation of the vertices.

Freedom Bound is a single-player 2D Top-Down stealth/bullet hell adventure. You play as a dog named Milk that is lost in a multiverse of shapes.


Help Milk escape the different pocket universes and reunite with his friend, Tea!
